Opened in 2012, Barclays Center is the home of the Brooklyn Nets and hosts premier concerts, championship boxing, college basketball, and family entertainment.
The arena is home to the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association and the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association. The arena also hosts concerts, conventions and other sporting and entertainment events. The arena is part of a $4.9 billion future business and residential complex now known as Pacific Park.

A group of anti-vaccine protesters attempted to push their way into Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, October 24, in support of Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, who has been forced to sit out the NBA season after refusing a COVID-19 vaccination.This footage by Tom Frezza, taken in the plaza outside Barclays Center, shows protesters trying to enter the arena doors.
